Connect accounts
Connect YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, X and Bluesky accounts to a workspace, then reconnect or remove one.
Connect a destination
#Open Account, then the Destinations tab. Accounts you connect here belong to the workspace you're in, so check the workspace name at the top first. Under Add a destination (Connect a destination while the workspace has none), select the platform you want.
Every platform but Bluesky sends you to sign in on its own page. Approve access there and you're back in Deploy with the account connected.
Only the workspace's owner and admins can connect, reconnect or remove destinations. Members post with the ones already there.
Bluesky connects with a handle and an app password instead. Enter your handle or email under Handle or email (a leading @ and the .bsky.social ending are optional), then a password made just for Deploy under App password: create one at Bluesky → Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords, not your main password.
What each platform needs
#A few platforms want a particular kind of account before they'll connect.
| Platform | Account type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | Any channel | Sign in with Google. |
| Business or Creator account | No Facebook Page needed. | |
| A Facebook Page | Reels post to the Page, not a personal profile. | |
| TikTok | Any account | Sign in with TikTok. You choose who can see each post when you publish it. |
| Threads | A Threads account | Sign in with Threads. |
| X | Any account | Sign in with X. |
| Bluesky | Any account | Connect with a handle and an app password, not your main password. |
Reconnect, add more, or remove a destination
#When a platform signs an account out, its card says Reconnect needed. Select Reconnect destination on the card and sign in again as the same account; a different account is turned away rather than swapped in. Nothing else about the destination changes, and its deployment history stays exactly as it was.
You can connect more than one account per platform to a workspace, for example a second YouTube channel. See Plans and limits for how many your plan allows.
To stop posting to an account, select Disconnect on its card. Its deployment history stays. Once it's disconnected, Remove destination takes it off the list: its history stays in the Library, and a destination that was never used is deleted outright. Neither one touches anything already posted on the platform itself.
