How to post photos, carousels and text with Deploy: pick the kind, add and order your photos, and which platforms take what.
Video, photos or text
#Deploy posts more than video. On the first step you'll see three cards: Video, Photos and Text. Pick one and the rest of the flow is the one you already know, with a step that fits the kind.
Each card shows how many of your connected accounts can take that kind, so you can see where a post will land before you go further. Deploy names any account that kind leaves out. If you change your mind, switching starts a new post, and your caption comes with you.

YouTube is for video. Instagram and TikTok take photos and carousels but not text on its own.
Add your photos
#The Photos step replaces the video upload. Drop in JPEG, PNG or WebP files up to 30 MB each, or pick photos you've already uploaded from your library. Deploy prepares a copy for each platform in the background.
- Drag a photo to put it where you want it. On a keyboard, hold Shift and use the arrow keys. The first photo leads: it's the one a platform shows first.
- Open Accessibility under the preview to add alt text. It describes a photo for people using screen readers, and Deploy sends it wherever the platform takes it.
- A photo narrower than 320 pixels is marked on its thumbnail. Instagram and Threads need at least 320, so Deploy enlarges a small photo to 320 for them. It will look softer, so a bigger original is better.
How many photos one post can hold depends on the platform. If you add more than a platform takes, Deploy tells you which ones go out there.

Write the caption
#The caption step works like it does for video: write once, and customize it for any destination. Under the box you can see how it fits each platform. For a text post, the caption is the post.
Long text becomes a thread
#X and Bluesky have short limits. For a text post that runs long, turn on Split into a thread for that destination and Deploy cuts it into a connected thread, with a preview of each post in it. A thread can run up to 10 posts. With the switch off, a post that's too long for X or Bluesky needs a shorter version before you can deploy.
Scheduling and your monthly count
#Settings and Deploy are the same as for video. Schedule a photo or text post and it waits on your Calendar like any other. Each platform reports back on its own row, and one failing never holds up the rest.
A video, a set of photos and a text post all count the same toward your monthly posts, once each, however many platforms they go to.
