Best cross-posting tools for short video in 2026

deploy.social sends one upload to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, Threads, X and Bluesky for a flat $15 a month, and it's one of nine real tools below, priced and sourced from each one's own pricing page.

How we chose

Every price and limit below is read directly off the tool's own pricing or help page, in USD unless the tool prices in another currency, with the date it was checked. We left off tools built for a whole social team's calendar rather than a creator's short video, and we say where a tool is strong and where it falls short, deploy.social included.

The list

  1. deploy.social

Uploads one video and posts it to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, Threads, X and Bluesky at once, each with its own caption and settings. Free: $0, 5 videos a month to all seven platforms, no card, no end date. Standard is $15 a month for every platform, no post cap. Best for a creator who wants one flat price instead of one per channel. Fair weakness: it's newer than most names here, and analytics are basic today.

  2. ShortSync

Built around the same job: one upload, sent to every major short-video platform, X and Bluesky included. Free: $0, 5 uploads a month. Creator is €14.99 a month, or about €11.99 a month billed yearly. Best for someone who wants the most purpose-built tool for exactly this, with 13 destinations on its own list. Fair weakness: it prices in euros, so the dollar cost moves with the exchange rate.

  3. Buffer

A familiar, polished scheduler that reaches Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Threads, X and Bluesky, among others. Free: 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is $6 a month per channel, so all seven platforms runs $42 a month. Best for the cleanest interface and mobile app of any tool here. Fair weakness: Buffer's own Help Center says video can't be bulk-uploaded on any plan, and per-channel pricing adds up once you're on every platform.

  4. Later

A visual content calendar with a grid preview built for planning an Instagram feed, scheduling to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat. Starter is $25 a month, 30 posts per profile a month, after a trial. Best for someone whose main platform is Instagram and wants to see the grid before posting. Fair weakness: Later ended X support on August 28, 2025 and doesn't list Bluesky, so a cross-post from Later skips both.

  5. Metricool

A scheduler with analytics built in, covering most major platforms. Free: $0, 20 posts a month, though LinkedIn and X aren't part of the free tier. Starter is $25 a month for five brands, and X is a $10-a-month add-on per connected account. Best for a creator who wants real analytics alongside scheduling. Fair weakness: getting X working costs extra on top of the base plan.

  6. Publer

Posts to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest and LinkedIn, with AI-assisted captions. Free: 3 accounts, X excluded. Professional's price scales with a live calculator; on its own pricing page it showed $28 a month for seven accounts. Best for trying a real free plan before paying anything. Fair weakness: the price isn't one flat number, it's a running total built account by account.

  7. OneUp

Schedules across all seven of these platforms from its entry plan, priced by connected account rather than by channel. Basic is $25 a month for 5 accounts; covering all seven costs $35 a month once the extra two are added. Best for someone who wants every platform available on the cheapest tier, not gated behind a higher plan. Fair weakness: there's no standing free plan, only a 7-day trial.

  8. Postiz

An open-source scheduler you can self-host for the cost of a server, or run hosted from $29 a month for 5 channels. Best for a technical creator who'd rather host the tool than pay for it monthly. Fair weakness: the hosted option's free route is a 7-day trial, not a standing plan, and self-hosting means you're your own support desk.

  9. Blotato

Built for AI agents and automation: a posting API, an MCP server, and credits for AI-made images and video, on top of the same cross-posting. Starter is $29 a month for 20 accounts across all seven platforms. Best for a creator already automating content with AI tools and wanting the posting step to plug into that. Fair weakness: there's no standing free plan, only a 7-day trial.

Questions

What is the best cross-posting tool for short video?

It depends on what matters most to you. deploy.social posts to all seven major short-video platforms, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, Threads, X and Bluesky, for a flat $15 a month with 5 videos a month free. ShortSync is the closest purpose-built alternative, and Buffer has the most polished interface if per-channel pricing doesn't bother you.

Is there a free cross-posting tool for TikTok, Reels and Shorts?

Yes. deploy.social's free plan covers 5 videos a month to all seven platforms, with no end date. See the free cross-posting apps roundup for how it compares with Buffer, ShortSync, Metricool and others at $0.

Which cross-posting tool is cheapest for all seven platforms?

By flat monthly price, deploy.social at $15 a month and ShortSync at €14.99 a month are the two lowest for every platform included. Tools priced per channel or per account, like Buffer at $6 a channel, cost more once you add all seven.

Do these tools all post to Bluesky and Threads?

No. Later doesn't list Bluesky and ended X support in 2025, and several tools charge extra for X. deploy.social, ShortSync, Buffer, Metricool, OneUp, Postiz and Blotato all reach Bluesky and Threads on their published platform lists.

Try deploy.social before you pick one.

Connect the platforms you use and post one video. 5 videos a month are free, on all seven.
